Discovering Leadership
Leadership is a skillset all too often assumed and left underdeveloped, this is why we at Discover Develop Retain Learning have developed our ‘Discovering Leadership’ programme.
Throughout the last eight years Discover Develop Retain Learning has delivered Management and Leadership Programmes to Pitmans BDB, Kone, Grohe, NHS South, Stannah, Loma Technologies and Rolls Royce Motor Cars, BP, ABK games, Rio Tinto, Ipsen, and more
The programme will be ran over six, half day online sessions and two 2 hour coaching sessions using Zoom, and will include a variety of opportunities to assess your leadership style and how to best develop yourself, your team and your team members, helping you and your people communicate more effectively and work together to produce great results.

Appraisals and Managing Performance

Getting inclusion right
Effective Recruitment
Allowing for group discussion throughout the programme will allow you as learners to put context and scenario to the principles, practices and theories discussed. Your course leader will help you to identify how to utilise the theories and models as coaching tools and measurements of effectiveness, enabling you to implement your learning and progress through assessment.
The initial group learning sessions will be followed up with two 2 hour competency coaching sessions, where you as learners will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills. The competency assessments will drive you to implement the skills you learn progressing your development as a leader with benefits for yourself, your team and your wider business.
Participants will develop the following competencies:
Measurable effective communication skills
How to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours of self and others creating robust SMART goals
How to use effective questioning and goal setting for a more meaningful appraisal.
How to recruit the right person for the right role at the right time
Assess and manage Equality and Diversity within your team and beyond
Learners will be assessed against the following competencies during their one to one coaching sessions
